GRAVEHUFFER - Depart From So Much Evil - Album Review

“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” is a common saying, and “Enjoyment is in the ear of the beholder” is something we believe in at AstroRabbit, and that’s why I haven’t done many album reviews because I believe you should check out all kinds of music and make your own opinion; however, when a band like Gravehuffer asks you to review their new album, it is only proper for one to oblige.

“Depart From So Much Evil” is not a departure from that trademark hardcore punk and metal mix of this powerhouse of a band. This album crushes through its six tracks in just over half an hour with our four friends taking you on a thrilling ride down the highway of metal.

This reviewer would go as far as saying this is Gravehuffer at their “heaviest” yet, but once again that brings up the forever-lasting debate of the definition of “heavy”. That’s why instead of sitting here typing for hours telling what you what to think, my recommendation is for fans of fast, loud music to hit play on the video and make your own opinion, and then go pre-order this badass album.
